Getting Settled

I have finally had a bit of time to establish my room and unpack. I took some photos of my new Apartment. It is a 3 bedroom, one bath (complete with washer and dryer, with a hose from the washer to the tub where the laundry water is drained), one toilet (one room with only a toilet). I have one room mate named Sean, he is 21 and from Virginia, and a girl named Corey 21 from Missouri. 

Arriving

After the long flight, I was picked up at the airport and driven to my apartments along with some of the other students (from all over the US). The apartments are rustic 3 bedroom, one bath with a shared common area and kitchen. (I'll take some photos and update later) 

After making friends with a few kids in the complex we did some shopping at the mall that is within walking distance to get some essentials (phone, internet, food) and we headed into downtown Sydney, which is about a 20 min train ride from my apartments. Being in Australia didn't relay sink in until we saw the opera house. We (Brian, Anna and I) managed to arrive just as the sun was setting and were able to take some great shots. 

Leaving America!

Greetings! I leave on Wednesday afternoon. I am very excited to go. I have been busy getting in all my last minute preparations before I depart. I have also been busy visiting all of my friends before I leave. I will be leaving Lindbergh Field at 6PM. Then on to a transfer flight to LAX. Then from there, I will be embarking on the 14 hour flight to Australia. I'll be sure to update my post, and tell everyone what TOMORROW is like. (They are a complete day ahead of the U.S.)
